Scar Color Camouflage

Who Can Benefit from Corrective Color Camouflage?

Within the field of Permanent Cosmetics, corrective treatments can help men and women who have birth defects, Alopecia, Vitiligo, or scars from accidents, burns, illness, or surgery. The purpose of Color Camouflage and Medical Cosmetic Tattooing is to reduce irregularities in skin color or create the illusion of smoother skin or both.

What are the Steps in the Process?

There will be an initial consultation where the client's medical history, needs, and goals will be discussed. Dr. Reed will outline the treatment stages and candidly discuss what color camouflage can and cannot do. If her client is under a physician's care, taking medication, or planning future surgery, she will require that physician's permission to begin treatment. Dr. Reed works in conjunction with each client's physician to ensure the safest outcome for every client.

Although color camouflage is generally a multi-step process, each individual's treatment plan will be customized and different. For optimal results, all preparatory treatments and all application procedures must be completed. Otherwise, the final results cannot be determined and considered complete.
